Certified Flight Instructor Course


This course offers comprehensive training for pilots who wish to attain a Flight Instructor’s License.  A Certified Flight Instructor has the privilege to teach students for the certificate or rating they applied for.

The training consists of academic ground school and actual flight training completing in 2 months. Below are subjects offered in this course.

Flight instructing is one of the most rewarding careers which provide mutual benefits and opportunities.  Flight instructors are the source of knowledge, motivation, and support.  They also are the frontline in promoting flying and an advocate to flight safety. 


Eligibility


Applicants must meet the following requirements to be eligible in this course:

  1. At least 18 years of age.
  2. Commercial Pilot License Holder.
  3. Current Airman Medical Certificate.
  4. Proficient in the English Language.
  5. Has Good Moral Character.

Admission

To enroll in the Certified Flight Instructor Course, the applicant must submit the following documents:

  1. Application for Admission or you may fill-up the eReservation System.
  2. Photo copy of Pilot's License and Airman Medical Certificate.
  3. Police Clearance from country of origin [for foreign applicants].
  4. Photo copy of passport [for foreign applicants].
  5. Affidavit of Support from Parents, Guardian, or Guarantor [for foreign applicants].
  6. Registration Fee of US $250.00 [for foreign applicants].

A confirmation letter will be sent when all documents are received by the Director of Student Admission and Service. International students will receive a letter addressed to the Embassy of the Philippines for their application of a Philippine Temporary Visitor's Visa.

The above documents are necessary for the application of a Special Study Permit which allows the student to study in the Philippines.
