AMT Course


The Aircraft Maintenance Technician Course is a comprehensive training for students who aim to attain an Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic License.  This 2 year course is composed of academic and laboratory training providing students the appropriate knowledge and skills in servicing, maintenance, repair, and overhauling of aircraft airframe and engine components.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. 16 years of age.
  2. At least high school graduate.
  3. Proficient in English Language.
  4. Have good moral character.


The minimum age requirement to obtain an A&P Mechanic License issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines is 21 years of age.  Applicants may undergo an on-the-job training, as part of the requirement, and take an A&P Mechanic License examination after graduation.  However, the A&P Mechanic License will be release once the applicant is 21 years of age.


Schedule


The commencement date of the course indicated herein follows the Philippine semestral system which normally begins on June.  However, some students may have the option to start their course on the month of November.

Admission

To enroll in the AMT Course, the applicant must submit the following documents:

  1. Application for Admission or you may fill-up the eReservation System.
  2. High School Transcript of Records.
  3. Birth Certificate.
  4. Police Clearance from country of origin [for foreign applicants].
  5. Photo copy of passport [for foreign applicants].
  6. Affidavit of Support from Parents, Guardian, or Guarantor [for foreign applicants].
  7. Registration Fee of US $250.00 [for foreign applicants].

The above documents must be submitted to the address provided below at least one (1) month before the commencement date of the course.  Entrance exam, clearance, and visa processing will be facilitated by the school after receipt of all required documents.

A confirmation letter will be sent when all documents are received by the Director of Student Admission and Service. International students will receive a letter addressed to the Embassy of the Philippines for their application of a Philippine Temporary Visitor's Visa.

The above documents are necessary for the application of a Student Visa allowing students to obtain college education in the Philippines.
