Professional Pilot Program
If you’re serious about becoming a professional pilot then this program will train you from the start towards a commercial pilot license with multi-engine and instrument rating. You may also check the Professional Pilot Program section on this website to get more information.
The program consists of academic and flight training in order to meet the minimum requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP). To learn more on the Civil Air Regulations concerning the issuance of a pilot’s license, you may download the following:
Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines CAR Part 2 – Personnel Licensing (pdf)
Foreign students may also check the requirements of their country’s civil aviation authority. You may visit the country’s website at this link http://www.icao.int/icao/en/m_links.html. The following are samples of regulation and license conversion procedures:
Directorate General of Civil Aviation – India Conversion of Foreign License (pdf)
Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority CAR Part 2 – Personnel Licensing (pdf)
Ghana Civil Aviation Authority CAR Part 2 – Personnel Licensing (pdf)
We encourage foreign students to know the requirements of their country to ensure valid conversion of their Philippine Commercial Pilot License to their home country’s license. The program is designed to meet the requirements of the CAAP and does not consider the requirements of other countries unless the student applicant had requested it ahead of time. In some instances, there are requirements that are unattainable in the Philippines due to the differences of the regulations between two countries. Therefore, it is better to know ahead of time prior making the decision to enroll with us.

Private Pilot
The Private Pilot is your first step in getting a pilot’s license. Whether you’re a hobbyist or a career-minded individual who’s still in the verge of deciding to become a professional pilot then the private pilot training program is ideal for you.
As a private pilot you can fly as pilot-in-command of an aircraft carrying passengers not for hire or remuneration. By law, you must attain not less than 40 hours of flight time to apply for a private pilot license. There’s a certain dual and solo flight time requirement based on the 40 hours required.
After successful completion of the ground school and flight training, you’ll undergo a written, oral, and practical examination conducted by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines. Passing the required examination entitles you for a private pilot license.
We encourage you to visit us for an orientation of the Private Pilot Program.

Instrument Rating
Getting instrument training is the right choice to develop further precision of your flying skills. An instrument rating allows you to fly accurately maintaining the plane’s desired attitude and performance with the sole reference to the instruments. Navigating from point A to point B without visual reference can only be done if you’re a well-trained instrument pilot.
The instrument training consists of a ground school and flight instructions. Some portion of the flight training may be conducted in an approved simulator or flight training device to reduce costs. However, actual practice in an airplane is still required to build your aeronautical knowledge and skills effectively.

Commercial Pilot
Your Commercial Pilot License is your ticket to your flying career. Every pilot earns their first pay once they obtain their commercial pilot license. From this point you have the option to build more flying experience from different job opportunities such as becoming a flight instructor – teaching students, aerial applicators – agricultural spray pilot, air charter pilot, missionary pilot, corporate pilot, or a flight officer of a small regional airline. (see Aviation Career Guide section of this website)
An advance theory is provided to build your aeronautical knowledge necessary for commercial flight operations. The flight training is conducted in a much rigid standards compared to PPL and requires more flying time. You check this website http://www.icao.int/icao/en/m_links.html to see the requirements of your country.
