Dumaguete airport is the most conducive place considering its weather, air traffic, and airport facilities which consists of a runway length of 1.7 kilometers and runway orientation of 09 and 27, VOR ground aids, PAPI lights systems, full air traffic control, emergency and fire rescue facilities, and passenger terminal.
Dumaguete City is incomparable to other places in the Philippines “pilot training wise”. It has five large universities, complete amenities, malls, and recreational places suitable for student life. Dumaguete is also accessible to both international and local students from Manila (capital city) or Mactan-Cebu International Airport through land, sea, and air transportation.
