Corporate Aviation


Some large companies maintained their own aircraft to serve the travel needs of their executives.  They have an aviation department that handles this area with a team of pilots and aircraft mechanics.  The workload is light since the aircraft is not used for commercial operations.  The pay is reasonably higher since they hired “the really good ones”.  Being employed in the corporate aviation is mostly in the form of endorsement.
