Crew Resource Management


The Crew Resource Management Course (CRM) is designed to enhance pilot’s ability to effectively use all available resources whether flying in a single pilot or multi crew operations.  It provides knowledge on factors critical to flight safety with emphasis on awareness, recognition, and proper course of actions in order to maintain safety.


Training

CRM training is scheduled to complete in 1 week.  This course highlights the following areas:

  • Hazardous Attitude.
  • Situational Awareness.
  • Communications.
  • Cross Cultural Environment.
  • Physiological Factors.
  • Accident and Incident Investigation.
  • CRM Workshop.

Pilots and Flight Instructors who undergo CRM training have more understanding on the safety concept of the complexity of the flight environment where human element is the primary concern.  As modern technology evolved tremendously in the 20th century, human factor has never changed and continued to be a challenging issue.  CRM training is geared toward the improvement of the human factor as the integral part of flight operations.



Eligibility


To be eligible in this course the applicant must meet the following requirements:

1)    At least Private Pilot License.
2)    Current Airman Medical Certificate.
3)    Proficient in the English Language.


Schedule


Schedule is fairly open and will start with a minimum number of 6 students.

Admission


To enroll in the Crew Resource Management Course, the applicant must submit the following documents:

  1. Application for Admission or you may fill-up the eReservation System.
  2. Photo copy of Pilot's License and Airman Medical Certificate.
  3. Police Clearance from country of origin [for foreign applicants].
  4. Photo copy of passport [for foreign applicants].
  5. Registration Fee of US $250.00 [for foreign applicants].

A confirmation letter will be sent when all documents are received by the Director of Student Admission and Service. International students will receive a letter addressed to the Embassy of the Philippines for their application of a Philippine Temporary Visitor's Visa.
